How to Spot A Psychic Scam
There are some psychics that do run scams. For this reason, it is important to make sure that your psychic is for real. Here are some of the most common scams that you should be on the lookout for:
| 1. | If your psychic spends a lot of time details that you cannot prove, a red flag should go up. |
| 2. | If your psychic talks about you, your character traits or your future in ways that simply do not make any sense to you it is important to use your common sense. |
| 3. | If your psychic describes the future in generalized or obvious terms then you are not going to get the type of information that you want from this reading. |
| 4. | If your psychic says things about your current life that are simply wrong, this does not necessarily mean that you are being scammed. Your psychic may just be having a bad day, is not feeling well or has been unable to clear away some negative energy in her own life. However, if your psychic is outright inaccurate, then you should take the rest of the reading with a grain of salt. |
| 5. | If your local psychic charges a major fortune, then you should beware. While this psychic does need to earn a living, they do not need to overcharge. Most readings will cost you between $15 and $100. Of course, popular psychics like Sylvia Browne do charge a huge amount of money for a reading but this is just a matter of supply and demand. |
| 6. | If you call a 900 number for a psychic reading and find yourself being kept on the phone line for a lengthy time without getting the information that you need, then you have encountered a psychic scam. |
| 7. | If you are told that you have a curse on you and that if you pay them an abundant amount of money they will remove this curse from you, then this is another type of psychic scam. |
| 8. | If you have been told by a psychic not to make a decision without consulting you first, then that is also a scam. |
| 9. | If you are consulting with a medium and in the middle of their “conversation” they lose touch but tell you that for a certain amount of money they will bring that person back into focus and that you had better do this fast, do not fall victim to this scam. |
